Biotech

Summary:

Biotech is all around you and it's being used daily. It is used for curing, treating, washing, feeding (cotton, recycle stuff). There are also some infectious disease who have a approved product of 79. Some infectious disease are cancer, dermatology, and CNS. There are compounds in orgenics that are useful in cancer. All 50 states in America all have the same form of biotech in them. No place else on the planet have 4 research pillars. The 4 research pillars are all in Northern California. UCLA has the top lead which has $849. In the bay area there are over 100 bio science firms employing more then 19,000 people! (:

Reflection:

My reflection on the biotech was that it was pretty cool. I thought it was fascinating how biotech is used to help so many sick people. It's also so cool that so many things are used by biotech, even our daily uses! I'm also happy that there are so many biotechs used for curing people that are sick. It's also very nice how there are so many biotechs around the world. They are everywhere! I'm hoping that there will be more biotechs being created so that more sick people can be cured. :3

snail lab.

some of my experiences from the snail observation lab were how we got to look at the snail under the sun. i could see that there were wave like structures in its body allowing it to move without legs. i also saw how the snail ate its lettuce and how the mouth was moving while it ate. this lab was very interesting because i didn't know that the snail had so many parts to it. though i didn't touch the snail it was still very cool to look at up close. i learned that the snails are so slow they move at 3mph!
